I was born in Finland, grew up in Germany but my love for pottery started in Wisconsin when I was 16 and part of a one year exchange program to the US.

The high school I went to had an excellent ceramics curriculum and me being a creative girly in general could not wait to take all courses they had to offer.

Fast forward 20 years - I finished art academy, worked for multiple design companies and now live in the Hague (the Netherlands) and hope to introduce other people to my passion and make it accessible for beginners.

I teach handbuilding and glazing and try to always give you a full experience. From tasty snacks to a little bit of therapy - I am here for it all and absolutely love sharing it with all of you guys!
